Pedestrian Struck In South Jersey Had No ID; Police Seek Help Identifying Him
The injured man, who had no ID or cell phone on him, is recovering at the hospital, police said.
GLASSBORO, NJ — A pedestrian was struck on the roadway Tuesday night in Gloucester County, said police, who are trying to identify him as he recovers in the hospital.
A vehicle hit the man at around 8:20 p.m. on Delsea Drive in Glassboro, authorities said. The pedestrian didn't have an ID or cell phone on him.
"We need to notify his family who may be looking for him," the Glassboro Police Department said on Wednesday morning.

He is getting treated at Cooper Trauma as of 8 a.m. Wednesday, police said.
The crash happened in front of the SmashBros restaurant in Glassboro. The unidentified male was walking south in the northbound lane of Delsea Drive, police said.

No other information about the crash was immediately available.
Police described the pedestrian as a Black man in his mid-40s or 50s. He is about 5 feet, 10 inches tall and 185 pounds.
The man has shaved hair, a mustache and a short beard. He was wearing blue jeans, a gray t-shirt, a dark-blue hooded sweatshirt and a black puffer coat.
He also had a diamond stud in his left ear and a thick, silver, double-helix necklace. Police shared a photo of the jewelry:

He has no known tattoos or scars, police said.
