Shooting Victim Drove Himself To Hospital In South Jersey: Police
He was shot in his car while leaving a gathering, authorities said.
BRIDGETON, NJ — A man got shot inside his vehicle and drove himself to the hospital early Sunday in South Jersey, authorities said.
Police were dispatched to Inspira Medical Center Bridgeton for a reported gunshot victim around 1:30 a.m. Sunday.
The shooting happened as the victim left a gathering on the 100 block of Walnut Street in Bridgeton, police said. His vehicle was shot and his left leg sustained a gunshot wound as he drove near Irving Avenue and Church Street, officials said.

After driving himself to the hospital in Bridgeton, he was flown to Cooper University Hospital in Camden for further treatment. He has since been released.
The incident remains under investigation.
