An early-morning, three-car accident sent two people to the hospital with complaints of pain Tuesday.

A little before 8:30 a.m., police said Barbara Walker, 62, of West Deptford, was traveling North on Grove Street. Walker was preparing to make a left-hand turn onto Railroad Avenue when she was struck by 34-year-old Harry Weber Jr. of National Park.

Walker's Volkswagen Jetta was driven into oncoming traffic by Weber's Mitsubishi truck, and she was struck by Monique Galanti, 35, of West Deptford. Galanti and her two-month-old child were traveling in a 2005 Chevrolet Cobalt.

Walker and Galanti were taken by ambulance to Underwood Memorial Hospital for complaints of back and neck pain; Galanti's child was taken for precautionary observation only, police said.

Weber was cited for careless driving.
