Vandals Hit 8 Cars in Two-Day Spree
West Deptford Police are investigating the break-ins, all of which happened within a short distance of each other.

Unknown thieves hit eight cars parked within blocks of each other in the Harker Village neighborhood on Nov. 12-13, West Deptford Police report.
The cars were all in the area off Hessian Avenue that sits behind the high school’s athletic fields. It's not immediately clear if the incidents are related.
In several instances, vandals left all of the doors and the trunk open on the cars and rummaged through the inside, but didn’t take anything. Those incidents happened on Nov. 12 to one car on Vivian Terrace, one on May Avenue and two on Hessian Avenue, and on Nov. 13 to a car on Vivian Terrace.

Other owners weren’t as lucky. A car on Ford Avenue was broken into the same day, with a Garmin GPS, a pair of Oakley sunglasses, a pair of Arnett sunglasses and a pair of Electric sunglasses stolen.
On Nov. 13, cash and change, a debit card and an iPod charger were stolen from a car parked on Hessian Run Court. A black Garmin GPS and cash were stolen from an unlocked car on Lewis Terrace the same day.
