Train Crash Severely Injures Woman In South Jersey: Police

The woman was flown to the hospital, authorities said.

NEWFIELD, NJ — A woman was flown to the hospital Monday evening after a freight train and a car collided in Gloucester County, police said.

It happened around 6 p.m. by in Newfield. A woman sustained "severe" injuries and was flown to Cooper University Hospital in Camden, police said.

The crash happened around West Boulevard and Catawba Avenue — an intersection with a railroad crossing.
