Free Celebration Of Union County History Being Held This Weekend
More than 30 sites are participating.
UNION COUNTY, NJ — More than 30 historic sites throughout Union County will be open and on display over the next few days as part of the annual "Four Centuries in a Weekend" celebration.
All ages are invited to take part in guided tours, interactive activities, and a special stamp for "Union County Passport" and "Passport to your National Parks" book holders. Admission to all of the events and activities is free.
There will also be Union County History Trading Cards at different sites which tell the stories of people, locations, and events in the area's history.

“For one weekend in autumn, Union County’s rich history comes to life like never before, offering a historical charm that every resident should experience,” adds Lourdes M. Leon, Union County Chairwoman. “Each site will tell a fascinating story that is woven into the fabric of this community."
All sites will be open on Saturday and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. unless otherwise noted.

List Of Participating Locations
The program is funded partly by a grant from the New Jersey Historical Commission and is organized by the Union County Office of Cultural and Heritage Affairs. The event is sponsored by the Union County Board of County Commissioners and is worked by both staff and volunteers at the sites.
