Westfield Natives Graduate from Colleges, Universities in Region

Local college students have recently graduated from their respective institutions of higher learning with bachelor's and master's degrees.

As school years at colleges across the nation begin coming to an end, a number of Westfield natives recently graduated from their respective institutions of higher education.

A number of students from Westfield graduated from the College of Saint Elizabeth, in Morristown, and from Lehigh University, in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

The College of Saint Elizabeth, a liberal arts college for women, graduated 251 undergraduates, 161 graduates and two doctoral students at its commencement ceremonies on Saturday, May 16. Among those graduating with either a bachelor’s degree or master’s degree include Westfield natives:

  • Jennifer Fischer earned a MA in Education
  • Keila Guzman earned a BSN in Nursing
  • Robin Kirna earned a MA in Education

Lehigh University confered more than 1,900 degrees during its 147th spring commencement ceremonies, according to the university. A number of Westfield residents graduated from the university with either a bachelor’s degree or master’s degree including:

  • Alex Solomon received a BS In Business & Economics.
  • James LiSooey received a BS in Comp Sci & Business.
  • Jeremy Lin received a BS In Chemistry (AS).
  • Jesse Natale received a BS In Civil Engineering.
  • John Yingling received a BS In Business & Economics.
  • Kerry Austin received a BS In Earth & Environmental Science
  • Sarah Glickstein received a Master of Education
