Board to Approve Preliminary School Budget in The Week Ahead

Here's what's on the agenda for West Orange this week.

On Monday, the West Orange Board of Education meeting is set to meet at 8 p.m. in the West Orange High School Library Media Center. At this meeting, the board is set to approve a tentative budget.

The district received welcome news last week when state aid figures revealed the district’s state aid figures for next year would remain flat. Interim Superintendent James O'Neill says he is delighted the district funding will remain flat.

Ticket sales for senior citizen St. Patrick's Day Celebration Luncheon on March 15 go on sale Monday 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Tickets sales will continue throughout the week.

Tickets are $6 for residents and $8 for non-residents. Non-residents must be registered with a WO Senior Club. Check out attached flyer for more details.

On Tuesday, the West Orange Township Council will convene at 7 p.m. in West Orange Town Hall, 66 Main St. In the last meeting the council discussed Prism delinquent taxes

On Wednesday, the West Orange Planning Board is set to meet at 7:30 p.m., at West Orange Town Hall, 66 Main St. Check out the attached PDF for agenda.

On Thursday, the Special West Orange Zoning Board of Adjustment meeting will take place at 8 p.m., also at West Orange Town Hall, 66 Main St. Agenda attached.
