WEST ORANGE, NJ — A new Mexican-fusion restaurant is set to open in West Orange next week: Bubbakoo’s Burritos.

The chain’s latest location will open at 495 Prospect Avenue on Monday, Dec. 18. It is locally owned and operated by Dhruval Patel. This is Patel’s second location with Bubbakoo’s Burritos.

“Having lived in New Jersey, I’ve seen just how popular and sought-after this concept is,” Patel said. “I’m excited to officially become a go-to spot for Mexican cuisine in the West Orange community.”

“New Jersey is where we got our start – so to be able to say we’re now nearing 50 locations in our home state is something out of a dream,” Hart said. “I look forward to watching Dhruval thrive in West Orange and provide the community with new and unique food as we continue growing nationwide.”

Bubbakoo’s Burritos was founded by Hart and Paul Altero in 2008. Their first store opened in Point Pleasant, and they now have more than 100 locations across 15 states.
