Celebrate at Temple Ner Tamid

Wednesday Evening October 8, 2014 - Celebrate the 1st night of Sukkot together!

• Family Programing and Sukkah Decorating with Cantor Meri at 5:30 p.m.
• Community Vegetarian or Dairy only Pot Luck Dinner at 6:30 p.m.
• Music, text study and speaker: Diane Riley, Director of Advocacy at the Community Food Bank of NJ at 7:30 p.m.

Thursday, October 9 at 10:00 a.m. - Celebrate Sukkot 1st Morning

• Join us for the festival morning service – bring your lulav and etrog for waving!

Sunday October 12 - Sukkah Stroll to begin at 2:00 p.m.

• One of the greatest joys in our tradition is dwelling in a sukkah during Sukkot. This year there will be four open sukkahs for you to visit and meet new and familiar friends in our community. All you need to do is drop on in! (Locations to be announced). Head on back to Ner Tamid afterwards for some wonderful music entertainment in the Ner Tamid Sukkah!

Shmini Atzeret- Yizkor Service - Thursday, October 16 at 10:00 a.m.

• Join us on this last day of Sukkot as we recite Yizkor.

Simchat Torah - Thursday, October 16 at 7:00 p.m.

• This is the holiday for adults and children of all ages. Come witness the unrolling of the Torah. Listen to the last strains and first beautiful lines of our Torah read aloud. Dance and dance and dance to the music of our congregational band! You don’t want to miss this joyful evening!
