Essex County College Prof Accused Of Criminal Sexual Contact

The adjunct professor – a West Orange resident – has been accused of "sexually inappropriate contact" with an adult student.

ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — A West Orange resident who works as an adjunct professor at Essex County College has been accused of criminal sexual contact and harassment, prosecutors announced Monday.

Gnanaseharan Selliah, an adjunct professor at Essex County College in Newark, allegedly engaged in “sexually inappropriate contact” with an adult student in November, according to the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office and the Essex County College Police Department

Selliah has been charged with criminal sexual contact and harassment, prosecutors said.
