Free Weight Room Classes For Women At Blink Fitness In East Orange

EAST ORANGE, NJ — All Blink Fitness facilities in New Jersey will be bringing back their popular “Women in the Weight Room” series for 2024, including the East Orange location.

The free classes are open to the public; participants don’t have to be a Blink member to attend. There will be separate workshops for adults and girls aged 14 to 17.

Here’s what to expect, according to a news release:

“Both sessions are designed for females to safely learn how to strength train with instruction geared toward their age and ability. For the girls, they can expect to learn how to warm up and cool down, how to use proper form and how to choose a safe weight to prevent injuries. Blink trainers will provide a fun experience for the girls while they learn approachable exercises to begin a strength training routine. Blink believes that learning the fundamentals early will have a positive impact on girls for the rest of their lives.”

The girls class will be held on Friday, March 8 at 4:30 p.m. Register here.

The adult classes will be held each Tuesday in March from 7 to 8 p.m. Register here.
