ICE Arrests Wanted Fugitive In East Orange: Officials
A man wanted for homicide was recently apprehended in the Oranges, authorities said.

ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers recently arrested a wanted fugitive in East Orange, authorities announced last week.
Juan Luis Ramos Marin, 23, is wanted for homicide in Brazil. He is a Venezuelan citizen who illegally entered the United States, although the date and place of his entry is unknown, authorities said.
According to ICE, Marin has criminal convictions in the United States for disorderly conduct and petit larceny, with pending charges for multiple theft-related offenses, including property theft valued between $100 and $25,000, and possession of stolen property with intent to sell.

The U.S. Border Patrol referred Marin to ICE Newark on April 9, identifying him as a fugitive from justice in Brazil.
ICE Newark officers arrested Marin on April 29 with assistance from Homeland Security Investigations Newark and the U.S. Customs and Border Protection. He was served with a notice to appear before a Department of Justice immigration judge, and is being detained in ICE custody without bond, authorities said.
