The West Orange historical park kicked of National Park Week with Junior Ranger Day last week.
Thomas Edison National Historical Park kicked off National Park Week last week with the Junior Ranger Day that gave special tours of the laboratory complex and a wax cylinder phonograph recording demonstration.
Junior Ranger Day, which took place on April 20, gave young visitors the opportunity to earn their junior ranger badge as they explore the park and complete their free activity book.
They also learned more about Edison’s work with the telegraph and learn Morse code and experiment with telegraph equipment and practice sending messages too.
