'Summer Solstice On The Mountain' in West Orange
New Jersey Arts Incubator will bring entertainment to the Oskar Schindler Performing Arts Center in West Orange.

The New Jersey Arts Incubator is kicking off the summer with a special concert on Friday at the Oskar Schindler Performing Arts Center in West Orange.
The amphitheater will host a Summer Solstice Celebration that will present music, dance and drumming from around the world as well as arts and crafts for children.
"What a great event to end the work week and welcome the summer," founder and vice chairman of NJIA, Amy Simon, said about the organization's 'Summer Solstice On The Mountain.'

The program will include series of sun salutations and guest will get to enjoy performances by the Montclair based 13 HANDS aka DALIEN — a Grammy nominated singer/songwriter, world musician, shamanic and kirtankar — Mark Woods — a regionally renowned teaching circle drummer — world music musician, Celtic harpist Odarka and more.
"You can learn about the solstice expression throughout the ages," Simon added.

The free concert kicks off a 7 p.m. and will run until 10:30 p.m.

Tribute Bands of July – Queens of Heart Band: July 11 at 7 p.m. – 8 p.m.

Slight Imperfection: July 12 at 7 p.m. – 9 p.m.
- Slight Imperfection is Odarka and Redentor (a.k.a. Red), a singer/ song-writing duo blending musical genre of traditional Celtic, folk, rock and roll and all in between. Odarka is on vocals, Celtic-harp and percussion with Red on guitar and vocals.
Arts Play Day: July 14 at 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
- A day of activities and workshops for families with children and adults with special needs. Sponsored by the Thomas and Agnes Carvel Foundation
NJAI Adult Community Theater presents Into The Woods: July 20 at 7 p.m. – 9 p.m.
- NJAI Adult Community Theater presents Into The Woods with music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and book by James Lapine
- Gates Open 7PM Show starts 8PM
- Adults $5, Kids FREE
The Summer Solstice Celebration is produced by NJAI and co-sponsored by the town of West Orange, Center for Spiritual Living North Jersey and Inner Realm Magazine.
The New Jersey Arts Incubator at OSPAC is a local 501c3 arts organization is approved to provide community service hour credits to West Orange High School students who volunteer to work at events held at the Oskar Schindler Performing Arts Center.
