Local Business Donates Billings to Animal Shelter
Fahoury Ink will mark National Adopt a Shelter Pet month

For the second year in a row, Fahoury Ink is marking National Adopt a Shelter Pet month by donating 10 percent of its October billings to the West Orange Animal Welfare League (WOAWL) to benefit homeless pets.
Last October, Fahoury Ink, a copywriting business in West Orange, raised more than $2,200 for the organization.
“It was the best month in our company’s 11-year history, a combination of new business and long-time clients who were determined to make their projects count toward the total,” company owner Lisa Fahoury said adding, “What an amazing feeling to be able to hand over such a sizeable check! I’m so grateful for the clients we’re privileged to work with every day.”
Fahoury, a West Orange resident, has firsthand experience with the work of the WOAWL.

“Over the 20 years we’ve lived in West Orange, we’ve adopted six cats — all of which have brought tremendous joy to our family. WOAWL made that joy possible, and I’m pleased to be able to be in a position to help support their efforts,” Fahoury said.
“The gods smiled on us and sent us an angel in the form of Fahoury Ink,” said WOAWL President Sandy Rubin. “Their donations help us toward our goal vetting and altering as many animals as possible before they’re placed.”
The fundraiser applies to any project billed during the month. Additional donations are also welcome.
