Missing Man Found; Left Home Near West Orange, Montclair Border (UPDATED)

Police asked for help finding a missing person in Essex County. He has since been located.

ESSEX COUNTY, NJ -- Police are searching for a missing person who was seen walking away from his home near the border of West Orange and Montclair, authorities say.

The West Orange Police Department issued a missing person alert for Cairo Johnson, 24, on Friday.

According to police, Johnson walked away from his residence (Harrison Avenue area, near the Montclair border) around 1 p.m. on Thursday. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a white tank top and grey high top sneakers.

Johnson is known to travel along the #71 and #22 NJ Transit bus routes. His destination is unknown at this time, police said.
