New Caribbean Restaurant Gets Warm Welcome In East Orange

EAST ORANGE, NJ — East Orange officials recently welcomed a new restaurant to the city’s growing culinary lineup.

On Tuesday, city officials congratulated GG Caribbean Restaurant owner Glenis Gordon on her grand opening and ribbon cutting at 382 Main Street. Mayor Ted Green and City Council Chair Christopher Awe were on hand to celebrate the opening of the family-owned business, which specializes in Caribbean food.

“Antigua-born Ms. Gordon and her Guyanese-inspired cuisine represents the great melting pot of diversity that we call East Orange,” officials said.
