Parent Workshop In West Orange: ‘Adjusting To New Babies’

Jewish Family Service of MetroWest NJ (JFS) continues its free parenting series, The Parent Academy, for parents of children of varying ages, throughout the 2022-2023 school year.

The May Parent Academy, “ADJUSTING TO NEW BABIES” will take place at 9 a.m. on Friday, May 5 at the JCC MetroWest, 760 Northfield Avenue, West Orange. Parents can share their experiences, gather resources, and discuss adjusting to parenthood and the new addition to their family.

The discussion will be facilitated by Blair Beirsbach, LCSW. Beirsbach is a social worker at Jewish Family Service of MetroWest NJ who works with children and families. She focuses on their mental and emotional well-being, as well as working with parents in understanding developmental milestones.
