Terrapin is a young adult, female Lab Mix. She has beautiful blond fur, a smile that won't quit, and just about thesoftest ears! Terrapin (Terri for short) got her name because she was found at Turtle Back Rock in the local reservation. Although she is named after a turtle, Terri is anything but slow.
She loves to walk on a leash, run, and play. Terrapin is an adult dog- young enough to be full of fun energy, put mature enough to be past puppy shenanigans. She has had some training in her past and understands what is expected of her. "Sit" is part of her vocabulary. Terrapin really would be a wonderful family dog, if only a family would come along and adopt her!
To visit Terrapin or any of the adoptable animals at the West Orange Animal Welfare League, come to our next adoption day, Saturday, June 1st. Adoption days are from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Alex Caprio Animal Control Facility at 311 Watchung Avenue in West Orange (behind the Thomas Edison National Historical Park).
