Keita Young, President of the Essex Hudson Chapter of Jack and Jill of America Inc, casts her vote while educating her children.

This election day, mothers of the Essex Hudson Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. are involving their children in the election process in an effort to prepare them to become active, engaged citizens in our country.
By taking their preschool, middle school and teens to the voting booths with them, they are opening conversations with their children about the issues we face and the candidates who say they are poised to solve the problems in our communities.
For Essex Hudson, today is about showing and exercising a personal right while teaching their children the importance of making their voices heard.
