There were no kids on the school bus when it was hit on Pleasant Valley Way Friday afternoon, police say.

According to police, one person was transported to Saint Barnabas Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. Police were unsure if the injured person was the driver of the car or the bus.

The school bus was from the Vogal Bus Company, of Roselle, which the district uses mainly for out-of-district busing and only a few West Orange students, a school district spokesperson said.
