Road Work In West Orange Causes Trash, Recycling Changes For Some

WEST ORANGE, NJ — Residents of the St. Cloud section of West Orange will have to make some tweaks to their trash and recycling routines for the next few weeks due to road work, town officials say.

The following advisory was posted to the West Orange municipal website on Thursday:

“Beginning tomorrow, August 19, road work will be performed on designated streets for the next several weeks in the St. Cloud section that will affect garbage and recycling collection. Please place your items at the curb prior to 6:30 a.m. Even though you may not see road work on your street the entire Tuesday/Friday collection will commence earlier than usual. Trucks will not return for items placed at the curb later in the day. You will be notified when the work is completed. Thank you for your cooperation.”
