Shul Spiel: What's Happening at West Orange Synagogues
This week's focus returns to Congregation Ahawas Achim B'nai Jacob & David.

Congregation AABJ&D started off this year with a bang! Many people attended the Chagim here, making it a beautiful, spiritual and amazing way to start the New Year. Our services and programs were enjoyed by all who attended.
In October we teamed up with Saint Barnabas Medical Center for an amazing and informative Breast Cancer program, “Breast Cancer in Jewish Women- Prevention, Detection, Treatment and Genetics.”
Besides our quarterly blood drive, we took part in a bone marrow swab drive, trying to find a young mother, originally from West Orange, a bone marrow match. An overwhelming number of community members made sure to participate. A big thank you to everyone who came out!
