Traffic Alert: Road Closures for St. Patrick's Day Parade

West Orange Police have announced what roads will be closed to traffic during the township's St. Patrick's Day Parade.

West Orange Police have announced what roads will be closed to vehicular traffic during the township’s annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade on Sunday, March 15.

According to police, Main Street will be closed to vehicular traffic at Northfield Avenue (south end) and Harrison Avenue (north end) from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Additionally, Eagle Rock Avenue will be closed to vehicular traffic at Prospect Avenue and Mountain Avenue.

Mt. Pleasant Avenue will be closed to vehicular traffic at Gregory Avenue, eastbound and at Laird Drive, police said. Ancillary streets along the Main Street corridor will also be closed as needed.

Parking restrictions are also in place during the parade, police announced. Emergency no parking signage will be placed along the parade routes and ancillary streets. Any vehicles in violation of the parking restrictions will be ticketed, towed and impounded at the owners expense.
