WEATHER ALERT: West Orange Facing 4 To 7 Inches Of 'Heavy Snow' On The Way
The National Weather service extended its winter weather advisory for West Orange and the region as more snow heads this way.

The punches keep rolling in New Jersey, as West Orange and the rest of the region is expected to get up to half a foot of snow Wednesday into Thursday.
The National Weather Service has extended its Winter Storm Warning for “heavy snow”, which is in effect from 7 p.m. Wednesday to 7 p.m. Thursday.
The winter storm warning calls for 3 to 6 inches of snow Wednesday night into Thursday. rain will mix with sleet and snow, before changing to all snow this evening, the NWS said.

According to the National Weather Service, snow may be moderate at times late tonight before tapering off late Thursday afternoon into Thursday evening.
The weather will create for hazardous driving conditions Wednesday night and Thursday as visibility is expected to be between one quarter mile and one half mile at times. Additionally, icy roads and snow will create hazardous travel conditions.

- Wednesday: Rain likely. Cloudy, with a high near 39. West wind around 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
- Wednesday Night: Rain and sleet before 10 p.m., then rain, snow, and sleet between 10 p.m. and 2 a.m., then snow after 2 a.m. Low around 22. Calm wind becoming northwest 5 to 7 mph after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 90 percent. New snow and sleet accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.
- Thursday: Snow, mainly before 4 p.m. Temperature falling to around 20 by 4 p.m. Wind chill values between 10 and 15. Northwest wind around 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90 percent. New snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.
- Thursday Night: A chance of snow before 7 p.m. Cloudy during the early evening, then gradual clearing, with a low around 8. Wind chill values between zero and 5. North wind 6 to 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent.
- Friday: Sunny, with a high near 23. North wind around 5 mph becoming light and variable in the afternoon.
- Friday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 13.
