Weather Update: Flash Flood Watch Effective Until Tuesday Evening
Some storms this afternoon could produce "heavy rain", according to the National Weather Service.

Merely hours after being pounded with heavy rain, New Jersey residents could be in for another bout of showers and thunderstorms on Monday.
Flash flood watches and advisories have been issued for much of the state, including West Orange. The National Weather Service issued a flash flood watch for West Orange, effective until 8 p.m. Tuesday.
Periods of showers and thunderstorms, producing heavy rainfall, are expected through Tuesday, the National Weather Service said. Rainfall rates as high as 2 to 3 inches per hour are possible. Such rainfall could cause flash flooding in urban and poor drainage areas and flashy streams and small rivers to go over bankfull in northeast New Jersey.
