Weather Update: Heatwave Heads To West Orange This Week

Residents can expect to see a temperatures around 90 degrees this weekend.

After a waterlogged start to the month of June, West Orange residents can expect to see temperatures touching 90 degrees toward the end of this week.

Today’s weather will be sunny with a high near 87 degrees and a low temperature around 66 tonight, according to the National Weather Service.

Thursday there will be a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Weather forecasters are calling for a high near 89. Temperatures will cool down Thursday night to about 68.

Temperatures are expected to come close to 90 on Friday, as well. The high on Friday is expected to be 87 degrees, according to the NWS. Temperatures are expected to drop down around 68 again Friday night.

  • Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 81.
