Weather Update: Weekend Weather Forecast in West Orange

After a pair of bouts with heavy rain and thunderstorms last weekend and earlier this week, residents are likely in the mood for some sunny weather.

The National Weather Service is forecasting partly sunny conditions on Wednesday, with a high near 67 degrees. Wednesday night, will see a low near 54. Thursday temperatures should remain in the mid-60s, with a 30 percent chance of showers developing on Thursday night according to the NWS.

Weather forecasters are predicting a 30 percent chance of showers on Friday, with thunderstorms possible after noon. There is a slight chance of rain Friday night, as well, the NWS said.

West Orange residents should see temperatures increasing this weekend and partly cloudy conditions. Friday and Sunday will see temperatures reaching the mid-70s, while Saturday’s high will be near 77 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.

• Friday: A chance of showers, with thunderstorms also possible after noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 74. Northeast wind around 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent.
• Friday Night: A slight chance of showers before midnight. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 61. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.
• Saturday: Partly sunny, with a high near 77.
• Saturday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 58.
• Sunday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 73.
• Sunday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 59.
