Anaya Karriem, a senior at West Orange High School and standout member of the girls' basketball team, has been named a McDonald’s All-American 2025 East Nominee. This prestigious recognition highlights the top high school basketball players in the nation and is a significant milestone in the career of any aspiring athlete.
Standing tall at 6 feet 2 inches, Anaya’s basketball journey began less than five years ago. Despite her relatively late start in the sport, she has demonstrated remarkable talent, work ethic, and leadership on the court. Her dedication has earned her a commitment to play Division I basketball at North Carolina A&T State University, where she plans to continue excelling both academically and athletically.
