West Orange Cares to Hold "Packing Day" Event

Volunteers needed to gather items for troops overseas.

West Orange Cares will be collecting razors, granola bars, warm socks and other items to ship to troops overseas. 

The items will be put into care packages that will be sent in time for the holiday season. 

Volunteers are asked to come and help organize the items into packages during a "packing day" event on Saturday, Nov. 5 at Liberty Middle School in West Orange.

Sorting of items begins at 8 a.m. and the packing will take place beginning at 9 a.m.
