West Orange 'GenMix Festival' Will Bring Seniors, Younger Residents Together
The event will include music, live performances, workshops, games, crafts and intergenerational activities. Senior transport is available.
WEST ORANGE, NJ — The West Orange Department of Senior Services will host a “GenMix Festival” on Sunday, Sept. 7 to celebrate Grandparent’s Day and Intergenerational Month.
According to organizers, the event will include music, live performances, workshops, games, crafts and intergenerational activities.
The event is being held in collaboration with the West Orange Public Schools. It will take place from 1 to 5 p.m. at West Orange High School (Tarnoff cafeteria), 51 Conforti Avenue.

“The objective is to create a more cohesive, unified community among the generations; where there is a sharing of perspectives, experiences and learning from each other,” organizers said in a news release.
