West Orange Native Earns All-NJAC Second Team Honors
A TCNJ senior athlete and West Orange native earned all-conference second team honors.

A West Orange native and senior at The College of New Jersey recently earned All-NJAC second team honors for the 2015 New Jersey Athletic Conference.
Abayomi Arowolo earned the second team honors in the discus throw. He registered a top distance of 42.56 meters to place second overall.
According to his biography on the TCNJ website, during his tenure at TCNJ, Arowolo placed 19th in shot-put with a college best of 12.43m at the 2012 Greyhound Invitational. Also in 2012, he cracked the top 10, placing 9th in discus with mark of 40.16m at the 2012 TCNJ Lions Invitational.

During the 2012 New Jersey Invitational Arowolo finished 6th in Hammer with a college best of 33.28m, according to TCNJ Athletics. In the 2012 New Jersey Invitational DT event he placed 4th.
In total, a dozen TCNJ athletes were named to All-NJAC teams for men’s outdoor track and field for the 2015 season.
