West Orange Rabies Vaccine Clinics Postponed Due To COVID Rise

A pair of rabies clinics for pets in West Orange have been postponed because of rising coronavirus cases, town officials said.

WEST ORANGE, NJ — A pair of rabies clinics in West Orange have been postponed because of rising coronavirus cases, town officials said.

The Township of West Orange Animal Control Division released the following message on Wednesday:

“Please be advised, the West Orange Health Department is postponing the free rabies vaccination clinics scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 8 and Wednesday, Jan. 12 due to the current rise in COVID-19 cases.”

The rabies clinics are being rescheduled for the following dates:

  • Saturday, Feb. 5 at the West Orange Public Works Department, 25 Lakeside Avenue from 10 am to noon
  • Wednesday, Feb. 9 at Fire Station # 4, 280 Pleasant Valley Way from 3 to 4 p.m.
