West Orange Resident OK Following Boston Marathon Explosion
Eliot Bank, 36, and his wife, Erica, are uninjured. Howie Brown, 72, of West Orange has also been reported safe.

A West Orange resident who ran in Monday's Boston Marathon is OK, according to a source close to the family.
Eliot Bank, 36, completed the race at 1:11 p.m. about 90 minutes before the first explosion at the finish line, according the Boston Marathon's website.
Bank was in Boston with his wife Erica, who is also unharmed.

One other township resident, Howie Brown, 72, was registered to participate, but it seems did not finish the race, the marathon's website reports.
Brown was reported safe by the Essex Running Club along with the rest of the members of the club who ran in the marathon. Brown was recorded at the 40K split at 2:57 p.m. just under two miles from finish line.

According to Patch reports from the Boston area, 2 people have been confirmed dead and 50 injured in the aftermath of the explosions. Reports say as many as four homemade bombs were found near the race’s course.
More than 500 runners were signed up for the race from New Jersey.
