WEST ORANGE, NJ — It’s official. The West Orange Public School District announced Monday afternoon that schools will be closed on Tuesday, March 14, due to an impending blizzard.

"Due to the pending snow storm, the West Orange Public School District will be closed on Tuesday, March 14," administrators stated. "All activities on Tuesday are canceled. Please be prepared for the possibility as schools could be closed or delayed on Wednesday, March 15."
"As of now, I am not indicating we will be closed or delayed on Wednesday, but merely affording you time to prepare for child care needs," West Orange Superintendent Jeffrey Rutzky stated.
