West Orange Will Charge Pet Owners To Use New Dog Park
A grand opening event for the highly anticipated park will take place on May 5.
WEST ORANGE, NJ — Want to use the soon-to-come dog park on Executive Drive in West Orange? It will cost you $10 per year if you’re a resident of the township – and $20 if you’re not.
Plans for a highly anticipated dog park in West Orange advanced at Tuesday’s town council meeting, with council members voting 4-1 in favor of a resolution that sets the above annual fees for the in-development park (watch the video below).
The dog park – which will be located near the Stonehill apartment complex and the township's new library building – was a bargaining chip in the Executive Drive redevelopment agreement that crossed the finish line a few years ago.
