West Orange Woman Turns 100, Celebrates With Family, Mayor
A cake, a proclamation from the mayor and a rousing round of "Happy Birthday" were among the activities at a party for Namie Colace.
WEST ORANGE, NJ — A tasty cake, a proclamation from the mayor and a rousing round of “Happy Birthday” were among the activities at a party that recently celebrated Namie Colace’s 100th birthday in West Orange.
Colace who was born in Naples, Italy, now resides at Arden Courts in West Orange. Her family and friends were on hand to celebrate the milestone at a birthday party last week. Also present was Mayor Susan McCartney, who read a proclamation highlighting her century of life.
