3 Chances To Volunteer In Middlesex County This Fall
There are trail and beach clean-ups planned Sept. 28, Oct. 19, Nov. 2. A great way to get your company, church or Cub Scout troop involved:

PERTH AMBOY, NJ — As the leaves turn and the air grows crisp, the Middlesex County Office of Parks and Recreation just published their list of 2024 volunteer opportunities.
All these volunteer opportunities require registration. Here are three ways to get involved:
- National Public Lands Day: On Sept. 28, from 9 a.m. to noon help do trail maintenance and habitat improvements at Davidson's Mill Pond Park in North Brunswick.
- Beach Sweep with Clean Ocean Action: On Oct. 19, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Raritan Bay Waterfront in South Amboy, volunteers will remove debris and litter from the shoreline.
- Fall Trails Day: On Nov. 2, from 9 a.m. to noon, volunteers will help improve the trails at the Ireland Brook Conservation Area in East Brunswick.
