All Welcome At Woodbridge Police's National Night Out Aug. 2
6-9 p.m. in the Community Center parking lot. Meet Woodbridge police officers, firefighters, EMTs and see their vehicles.

WOODBRIDGE, NJ — The Woodbridge Police Department will host National Night Out next Tuesday, Aug. 2 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.
The fun night out for kids and families will be held in the Community Center parking lot, at 600 Main Street, Woodbridge, NJ 07095.
Bring the kids and grand kids out to meet Woodbridge police officers, along with Woodbridge firefighters and EMTs and see their vehicles and enjoy free food, games and music.

The Township had 326 new cases of Coronavirus in the last seven days, which is the highest in six weeks since early June. The BA5 and BA4 strains of the virus account for the majority of these cases and remember that home testing results are not reflected in these numbers unless people who test positive self-report.
Once again, we are happy to not be reporting any new deaths from COVID.
We have two clinics scheduled for those under 12 on Tuesday, August 2 and August 16 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at our Health Center with appointments required by calling 732-855-0600 extension 5004. We have two other clinics scheduled for those 12 and over on Thursday, August 11 and August 25 from 4:00 to 6:00 PM with walk-ins accepted.
The Woodbridge Community Players have two more performances of The Wedding Singer tonight (Friday) and tomorrow night (Saturday) at 7:30 PM at Woodbridge Middle School and the show is absolutely fantastic. The Bill & Andy Show returns to Curtains tonight at 7:00 PM.
The Farmer’s Market returns to the Town Hall parking lot from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM tomorrow. The Motorcycle Run for the David’s Touch Foundation kicks off tomorrow at 11:00 AM from Curtains with a brunch following that at 1:00 PM.
The Woodbridge Elks have a Boardwalk Night tomorrow night at 5:00 PM at the Lodge and we have a Bat Walk starting tomorrow at 7:30 PM at Oros Park on Omar Avenue in Avenel.
Our concerts for the week start with a group called Dead Grass on Sunday, which covers the Grateful Dead, Shadows of the 60’s on Monday, Forever Ray covering Ray Charles on Tuesday, Martin Sexton on Wednesday and Shaman covering Santana on Thursday. All shows are at 7:30 PM except Sunday, which is at 7:00 PM, and all shows are at Woodbridge High School except Thursday, which is at Rankin Park in Sewaren across from Moby Dicks’s.
The Woodbridge Police Department is sponsoring National Night Out on Tuesday from 6:00 to 9:00 PM in the Community Center parking lot so bring the kids and grandkids out to meet our Police Officers along with Firefighters and EMTs and see their vehicles and enjoy free food, games and music.
The Woodbridge Annual Pizza Run is Wednesday, Aug. 3 starting at 7:00 p.m. from Alvin P. Williams Park in Sewaren with registration starting at 5:45 p.m. and you can sign up at: www.register.compuscore.com/wbpizza.
