According to its website, World Liberation Ministries is a Christian religious group. They currently operate a church at 1111 East Elizabeth Avenue in Linden. They now seek to expand to Woodbridge, where they want to convert 400 Green Street into a 156-seat church. There will also be space for community outreach services.
The church is seeking a variance and they need to get approval from the Woodbridge Zoning Board, because that area is zoned for retail only, and not a house of worship.
