Full Line-Up Of Woodbridge's Seasonal Fall Events This Weekend

There's a Zumbathon Saturday and Sunday, the Barronfest fine arts & crafts fest Saturday at Parker Press, kids' pumpkin painting and more:

WOODBRIDGE, NJ — The town of Woodbridge has organized so many great events to choose from this weekend, and into next week:

Musician Chris Ruggiero is at the Avenel Performing Arts Center Friday at 8:00 pm and Saturday at 2:00 and 8:00 p.m.

10 a.m. Zumbathon for Relay-for-Life at the Woodbridge Community Center

Pet blessing at the Oak Tree Iselin Presbyterian Church

The Barronfest Fine Arts & Crafts Festival: 12:00 to 4:30 p.m. at Parker Press Park

Oktoberfest at the Woodbridge Elks: 2:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Sunday, Oct. 15:

Rescheduled Woodbridge Bike Tour, starting at the Woodbridge Community Center with check-in at 7:00 a.m. The 15-mile route starts at 8:00 a.m. and the 30-mile route at 8:15 a.m.

CROP walk starting at Oak Tree Iselin Presbyterian Church at 1:00 p.m.

Zumbathon sponsored by The Club at Woodbridge at the Acacia Center also at 1:00 p.m.

The annual Feria de Sevilla performance by the Alborada Spanish Dance Theater at 2:30 pm at Parker Press Park.

Monday, Oct. 16:

Fords Cruise Night in the Siperstein’s parking lot from 5:30 to 8:30 pm with food and music and a DJ.

Second annual Annual Silent Witness Candlelight Vigil Tuesday at 6:00 pm outside the Main Library to show support for the victims and survivors of domestic violence

Medicare 101 seminar at the Iselin Library at 7:00 pm.

Wednesday, Oct. 18:

11:00 am to 1:00 pm is a Bagel & Coffee Seminar at the Community Center to discuss healthcare plans

Pumpkin Painting from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at Parker Press.

Youth Leadership Council meeting for all high school students who live in Woodbridge at 7:00 pm at the Acacia Center. Teens are invited to come out and learn how to get involved in the community.

Thursday, Oct. 19:

Stuff Your Own Scarecrow at Parker Press Park from 4:00 to 6:00 pm

Oktoberfest event at 6:00 pm at the Highland Grove Youth Center

Meet author Brooke Beyfuss at the Main Library at 7:00 pm

The Greenway Family Success Center is collecting gift cards, monetary donations, toiletries and new clothes at their facility at 1005 Rahway Avenue in Avenel at the corner of Avenel Street for those in need.

Next Saturday, Oct. 21 is Woodbridge Mayor’s Health Day at the Woodbridge Health Center from 9:00 am to Noon and a Halloween Pet Costume Contest from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Woodbridge Animal Shelter.

There is also the 7th annual Breast Cancer Walk leaving from Colonia Middle School at Noon and proceeding to the Springwood Swim Club where an Oktoberfest celebration will be held until 6:00 pm.
