Infant Boy Found Dead At Middlesex County Home Daycare
The Middlesex County Prosecutor called the death of the baby boy "tragic." It is under a criminal investigation; no charges have been filed.

PERTH AMBOY, NJ — An infant died at a Perth Amboy daycare last week, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Perth Amboy Police Chief Lawrence Cattano said.
At approximately 10:33 a.m. on Friday, authorities received a 911 distress call from a daycare that operated out of a private home on McKeon Street. The caller reported an unresponsive baby.
The baby had been sleeping on a cot at the daycare when he was found unresponsive, said a spokeswoman for the prosecutor.

Police and EMS took the baby to a hospital where he was later pronounced deceased. He was reported to be approximately a year old.
