WOODBRIDGE, NJ — At their most recent Council meeting, the Woodbridge town Council declared the long-vacant Lord & Taylor at Woodbridge Center Mall a redevelopment zone.

It was Woodbridge Center Mall that made this request of the town to declare the Lord & Taylor space "an Area in Need of Redevelopment."

This is a routine procedure when the Township Planning Department receives a request for a change of use at a commercial property in town.

The Lord & Taylor at Woodbridge Center Mall has been closed and sat dark and empty for nearly three years now: Amidst the company-wide liquidation of Lord & Taylor, the Woodbridge Center Mall location closed its doors in December 2019.
