Rents Start At $1,695 At Woodbridge's Avenue & Green, Now Leasing

WOODBRIDGE, NJ — Avenue & Green apartment complex in Woodbridge is now open and renting.

This is the 232-unit apartment complex at the corner of Rahway Avenue and Green Street. It was built on the former Lucas Chevrolet dealership property in downtown Woodbridge proper, right next to the New Jersey Transit Woodbridge train station.

Monthly rents begin from $1,695 for a studio, $1,895 for a one-bedroom and $2,345 for a two-bedroom. The developer, Prism Capital Partners, also has leasing incentives that include up to two months free.

Prism Capital Partners is the developer behind Dunellen Station, a mixed-use, transit-oriented apartment community; Wonder Lofts, the industrial-to-multifamily adaptive reuse of the former Wonder Bread factory in Hoboken; and Edison Lofts, the industrial-to-multifamily-and-retail redevelopment of the historic Thomas Edison Invention Factory and Commerce Center in West Orange.

Prism Capital Partners is also looking to fill 10,500 square feet of street-level retail on the ground floor.

Eric LeGrand's coffee house, LeGrand Coffee House, is their only confirmed tenant so far. But it will be a convenient location for his coffee shop, as the complex is just steps away from the Woodbridge train station — easy for commuters to just grab a cup of gourmet coffee, sandwich or cappuccino and hop on the train!

An opening date for LeGrand's Coffee House is still far off, either later this year or in 2022.
