Woodbridge Sprouts Farmers' Market Announces Opening Date

WOODBRIDGE, NJ — It's long known that a Sprouts farmers' market will open in Woodbridge, but the store just announced an opening date:

The Sprouts Market will open Oct. 3 and will be located at 1002 St. Georges Avenue, the brand-new Cloverleaf shopping center across from the IHOP.

Sprouts Market is their first signed tenant, and will be an anchor tenant. A Paris Baguette and Nostos Ice Cream are also confirmed to open there, said a leasing agent for the shopping center.

This will be the fifth Sprouts market to open in New Jersey. The nearest Sprouts is in Aberdeen Township, at 327 Rt. 35 in the Cliffwood section. It just opened last June.

Sprouts started in Arizona as an organic health food store, but has since expanded to carry traditional grocery store items. Sprouts still has an emphasis on organic, healthy fresh produce and plant-based foods. They also carry keto and paleo food product.

Sprouts is hiring for 107 full- and part-time jobs at its upcoming Woodbridge location. They will hold an in-person hiring event at the APA Hotel Woodbridge (120 Wood Avenue South) next Tuesday, August 26 from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Wednesday, August 27 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

They have a lot planned already for their Oct. 3 - Oct. 5 opening weekend:

Friday, Oct. 3

• 6:45am:  Ribbon-cutting
• 7am:  Doors open. First 200 in-store shoppers receive a FREE reusable bag filled with samples.
• 7am:  First 400 customers receive a FREE long stem rose courtesy of Falcon Farms Floral.
• 7am–5pm: Pop-up Party. Join us out front for samples, The Great Scale Showdown contest and a scavenger hunt.
• 10am–4pm: Taste new products in-store while you shop

Saturday, Oct. 4
