A substitute teacher and teen mentor from Plainfield is charged with child endangerment, and showing obscene material to a child under 18.

PLAINFIELD, NJ — A substitute teacher and teen mentor from Plainfield is charged with child endangerment, and showing obscene material to a child under 18.
Tory James, 23, a Plainfield resident, is currently a substitute teacher at the Queen City Academy Charter School. He also works as a mentor at the Queen City Mentoring Academy, a youth organization for teens.
Both are located in Plainfield.

James was arrested last Friday and charged with second-degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child and third-degree Promoting Obscene Material to a child under the age of 18.
