On Sunday, the Indian Cultural Society has its annual picnic at Merrill Park in Iselin from 11:30 am to 6:00 pm.

Woodbridge's free Summer Concert Series continues Sunday with “Live at the Fillmore” covering the Allman Brothers; “Forever Ray” covering Ray Charles on Monday and the “Linda Ronstadt Experience” on Tuesday – all at the Joseph R. Lewis Concert Field at Woodbridge High School.
Followed by “Joslyn & the Sweet Compression” with opener “Fellow Pynins” at Parker Press Park on Wednesday and the “Atlantic Sound Machine” on Thursday at Rankin Park in Sewaren.
The “Everly Set” which was rained out has been rescheduled for this Thursday, July 27 at Woodbridge High School. All shows are at 7:30 pm.
The Barron Arts Center continues its “Taste of the Arts Summer Lecture Series” with “Christmas Traditions” on Wednesday, July 26 at 7:30 pm.
Curtains Restaurant in Avenel has bands called “Broke and Busted” on Thursday and “Second Nature Duo” on Friday at 7:00 pm.
Woodbridge Twp. will have a special DJ party next Friday night, July 28 at 6:00 pm at Parker Press Park for children in the 10-14 age group and also a special concert by a polka band called “The Beat” at Parker Press Park next Saturday at 7:00 pm.
The Woodbridge Community Players are putting on the play “RENT” next Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7:30 pm and next Sunday at 2:00 pm at the Woodbridge Middle School Theater.
The Avenel Performing Arts Center has a play called “Sexy at Sixty” next Saturday, July 29 at 8:00 pm.
