Woodbridge/Carteret Girl Scouts Collecting Unwanted Halloween Candy

WOODBRIDGE, NJ — Looking to unload excess/unwanted Halloween candy?
The Girl Scouts of Woodbridge Twp. and Carteret will be collecting unwanted candy and donating it to Operation Shoebox New Jersey, which ships personal care packages to U.S. troops deployed overseas.
Volunteers have shipped 180,000 care packages overseas in the past 15 years, each one containing donations of candy.
