Woodbridge Man Killed In July 4th Motorcycle Accident
A man from the Fords section of Woodbridge was killed in a motorcycle crash on July 4 in Keyport.
KEYPORT, NJ — A man from the Fords section of Woodbridge was killed in a motorcycle crash on July 4 in Keyport.
Yovani Alberto Morfa, 26, "passed away Friday July 4th as a result of a tragic motorcycle accident in Keyport," read his obituary. "Born in Passaic, he lived in Fords for many years. He was employed by GoJet Airline as an aircraft technician."
Morfa was killed when his motorcycle crashed just before 9 p.m. July 4, on Rt. 35 north in Keyport, said police in that town.

He hit a curb and lost control of the motorcycle; Morfa was wearing a helmet and riding the motorcycle alone, the Asbury Park Press reported. He died at the scene.
There will be a funeral mass for him at 10 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic church in Perth Amboy, followed by a burial at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens.
